Salut
Je me fie à cette page https://www.debian.org/releases/stable/ ... -isohybrid ou https://www.debian.org/releases/stable/ ... all.pdf.fr pour créer une clé usb de démarrage pour un fichier debian-10.6.0-amd64-netinst.iso
je m'attendais à une opération simplissime, surtout ayant une configue debian encore en vie pour le faire, quelqu'un me rapportait avoir installé Mint parce qu'il avait buté sur debian, je ne m'étonne plus
N'étant pas spécialiste, il doit y avoir quelque chose que je fais mal ou que je ne fais pas :
la clé est insérée, le fichier iso debian est dans Téléchargements
la clé se dénomine sd7 d'après mes recherches (pas simple déjà)
j'applique comme il est dit dans la page

j'ai vu que ce fichier n'est pas exécutable, est ce que ce serait ça la raison ?
est ce qu'il faut prendre les privilèges pour réussir ?
on ne manquerait pas de le dire dans la page citée alors je bute aussi

Ça m'étonnerait. Les clés USB sont nommées /dev/sdx où 'x' est une lettre minuscule, pas un chiffre. Quant il y a un chiffre après la lettre, c'est une partition et ce n'est pas là qu'il faut écrire l'image mais dans la clé entière.

Il faut être root pour avoir accès direct à un périphérique de stockage.
Heureusement pour toi tu ne l'étais pas, sinon ta commande aurait simplement créé un fichier de la taille de l'image dans /dev, c'est-à-dire dans la RAM.

Hier, ma dernière cession s'est terminée brutalement par une coupure d'alimentation fortuite (un court circuit dans la cuisine), je n'ai (donc) pas l'historique du terminal sur la dernière cession, mais j'ai probablement enfreint, hier, les régles de bonne conduite, en tentant, même plusieurs fois sur sd7 avec les privilèges root
Alors ce que vous dîtes : "créé un fichier de la taille de l'image dans /dev, c'est-à-dire dans la RAM", je ne sais pas si ça a pu aller au bout et si je peux le vérifier ?
J'ai néanmoins réussi à démarrer ce matin, une nouvelle fois en enfreignant les règles : clé restée insérée, extraite au message d'erreur, ce qui explique peut être le "... Volume was not properly unmounted. ..." ci-dessous à la fin du rapport

Il me semble que beaucoup de choses clochent, beaucoup de lignes sont rouges dans le terminal (pas ci-dessous) :
Pratiquement : plus de son depuis des mois, difficultés temporaires de carte graphique ou d'affichage des résolutions, quand ma carte graphique ne donne plus d'affichage je passe à la carte graphique intégré et vice-versa et étonnemment l'affichage se rétablit, warning de disque dur panne imminente, obtention des menus de programmes tardif à l'affichage (2 minutes après le reste)
C'est pour ces raisons que je cherche à préparer une clé d'installation

Mais ça n'a plus d'importance maintenant puisque le contenu de la RAM est perdu au redémarrage.

Cette fois la clé s'appelle /dev/sdg et a une partition /dev/sdg1 qui est montée automatiquement. Il faut la démonter avant d'écrire l'image, sinon il y a un risque de corruption des données.

umount /dev/sdg1
cp image.iso /dev/sdg
La prochaine fois la clé aura peut-être un nom différent, il faut vérifier systématiquement.

c'est vraiment difficile, peut être qu'il existe une méthode "graphique" passant par un petit soft comme ça se faisait ailleurs dans un autre temps ?
j'ignore si un débutant arrive à faire une clé facilement, je ne vois pas ce sujet dans les archives, comment fait on en pratique, il doit y avoir une forte demande pourtant
ça semble complètement irréalisable, je suis vachement étonné

il est demandé de faire un fsck, est ce que je dois en passer par là obligatoirement ?
pourquoi dans l'insertion du code dans le post, cette fois ci, beaucoup de lignes sont elles rouges ?
si la couleur des lignes ou morceaux de lignes renseigne sur l'aspect conforme ou non des réponses c'est dommage que l'éditeur du forum modifie ces couleurs

pourtant debian semble être arrivé sur la clé comme l'indique le nom de la clé et le contenu dans cette capture d'écran
je remercie pascalhambourg pour son assistance précieuse

je n'ai plus qu'à chercher un autre disque dur pour faire une installation neuve
j'aimerais bien un ssd, et dans ce cas je crois que je choisirais parmi les plus petits de capacité
ça me ferait plaisir de revenir au ssd pour sa rapidité après en avoir eu de 2012 à 2015, mais ceux ci ayant rendu l'âme bien plus rapidement que mes vieux HDD, mes dernières installations étaient sur HDD. Un conseil sur le sujet ?
